hi , last year i lost 2 days of my holiday because french air traffic had a strike . I was flying with ryanair from bournemouth and was issued the notice whilst checking in for my flight !! . They offered me an alternative flight 2 days later from stansted ( not ideal but what choice did i have ) ?. They funny thing was on inspection flybe did not cancel any of their flights and even easyjet had minimal distruption to their flights ???? ....the strike was not in the media ? .

hi , thanks for your reply . Our flight was supposed to be 2nd april last year .I contacted flybe and none of their flights were affected inc spain and france ?.When I contacted travelrepublic ( who I booked the flights threw ) they didn't know there was even a strike ? someone mentioned that the other airlines had pain a levvy of somekind so that they could fly ???
