I clawed a final NSD in today making my total NSD#13. Not quite reached my target but its been a busy month and the cash has been abit like sand through my fingers this month. I really hope it'll be better next month.

    Afternoon everyone

I am out of hospital and at home resting. Feeling not too bad but a bit uncomfortable. I have been signed off work for another 5 weeks (after this week).

My total NSDs for this month is 17 and they were on Thursday, Friday, Sunday and today. As I was in hospital I arranged for an online shop to be delivered on Saturday evening and yesterday I ordered a takeaway (I know it's ridiculous after my online shop) but I can't stand for any length of time so found it difficult to prepare anything. I am hoping to do better this evening.

I am going to have to drastically reduce my monthly expenses for May and going forward. Not only do I really need to get myself in advance on my credit card but being unexpectedly signed off from work (even on full sick pay) has made me realise I need to really start saving for a proper emergency fund.

I have spent a bit of time this morning doing a proper but realistic budget for May. I will need to carry on with the online shopping for at least the next 2 or 3 weeks because I can't drive and can't walk far let alone carry bags of shopping home.

Hope everyone is well. I haven't read back to see what you've all been up to but have taken a look at the front page and some great targets have been met and exceeded.

See you on the May thread.

Not yet 100% decided whether or not I'm spending today!

Hmmmm........ be back later to let you know what happened ;)
And it ended up being a spend day as I realised DS is due home tonight and I've no milk in for him......

So I put £20 of liquid gold into the car (after my 2nd 46 length swim in 2 days) which got me the last token for my 8th Pyr3x dish from Mr T (not that I'm stopping collecting yet - still 3 weeks of the deal to go ;)). About to wander down to A1di for DS's milk and some fresh veg for me, and plan to nip into B'n'M on the way back to check if they've got a couple of bits I could use (or in one case need, but they're the only place I know of stocks affordably).

So I ended the month on 18, which is one less than last month. But I'm actually pleased with that as, not only is the month 1 day shorter, I took my GDs away for 5 days which always had the potential to become 5 days of spending (but thankfully was only 3).
