  • Thanks everyone, it's been a long time coming.

I don't know what my total debt has been over the years, as I have paid it down then increased it, thinking it was fine, then it would build and build and build, and I don't know what I have to show for it, which I guess is the usual story.

I am definitely sticking around as I don't want to fall back into it, and the challenges I am part of make me think about what I am spending or not.

Hope everyone is having a good weekend. Hope we get the good weather they are promising.

Well done ETO - great news (like Freeby I must admit to being a tiny bit envious but in the nicest possible way x) Like you I'm not sure of the total debts over the years, makes me feel a little sick to think about it but no more after these have all been paid down.

Anyway, yesterday was NSD #6 :j slow start this month but getting there - have been a bit of spendthrift of late - lots of things to be returned and go back on my card but even still, need to get things wound back in.

On the upside, the sun is shining so washing can go out and I can even get out to do the garden....and that costs nothing :A

Afternoon everyone from a lovely, quite warm and sunny London.

Yay, I have finally switched my heat off :j:D

    Thanks for updating Freeby,

ETO & Freeby, thanks for the birthday wishes :)

Spoon, I will get the cakes out tomorrow, LOL :)

Well yesterday was a heavy spend day for me. The vet's bill wasn't too bad but the grocery shopping was expensive but the real killer was that I decided to treat myself to some online shopping which I don't do very often but I really needed a few things for indoors.

I bought another bedding set in addition to the one I bought recently to make my life easier with one on and one in the wash, rather than struggling to get it all dry in one day with no tumble drier, in a tiny flat and now the heat has been switched off it would have taken forever. Embarrassingly, I had 2 chipped mugs that I finally threw away and have ordered a new set, a new pair of pumps as my current ones are almost worn out and I bought a new dress, all on the credit card that I am supposed to be trying to get in advance with :(. My knuckles are out ready to be rapped and my butt is sticking out ready for a kick! - I don't half look stupid :rotfl:

After that blow-out I resolved to drown my sorrows in a bottle of wine that my boyfriend brought over and it went down rather too well resulting in him having to hot-foot it back to the offie to get another before it closed. :o:eek: I feel surprisingly well considering.....

I am being taken out for dinner today and with no other spends planned I can declare NSD 7.

ETO, well done on being debt free.

    Have a great sunny Sunday.
