Not a NSD today, but I knew it wouldn't be - needed petrol and a small supermarket shop.

Good Luck for tomorrow, everyone! :)

    Joining the party fashionably late...

I had NSD's on Sunday and Monday but today I bought some newspapers and wine.

Quite pleased that I bought some 3.99 wine instead of £5 - silly but true.

Anyway, aiming for 2 more NSD's this week.

I want a further 10 this month so that's a total of... err

14 for me, of which I have accomplished 2.
Debt free, moved, got new stuff for the new flat - got everything I wanted and need - now just saving.

Another non-NSD day alas. Too much to buy at present. Hopefully I'll snag one soon rather than hitting a snag.

    Hello to:

kerri - NSDs are more difficult to nab some months than others, maybe you’re just having one of those months? Don’t lose heart, there are loads of potential NSDs left to nab and you’re already a third of your way towards your target:T

    Sorry... I forgot me :o:o

After my appalling start to the month I've managed to nab NSD no 5 today, so I'm doing this again :D:D

Spendy day coming up tomorrow (or, more accurately, today) so I'm hoping for no 6 on Thursday.

    'night everyone

  • NSD4 yesterday. Won't be one today, I need to go and change a frightening number of Australian dollars into US dollars and to fortify myself for that, I'm having lunch with my husband. We never get a word in edgeways at dinnertime anymore, with two small children, but we work a few buildings apart so we try and have lunch every now and then to get a peaceful conversation in!

Fedupandskint, that's brilliant about the credit card. That must feel fantastic. Have you cut it up ceremoniously?

Just chillin' today listening to my fave group's LPs. Clue: Nights in White Satin.

Hugs to all in need of one.
That takes me back *sigh*..I fell so totally & completely in love with a chap, but it was never to be that kind of relationship. We were so close emotionally & I adored him..strangely we still correspond all this time later from wherever he be (his career has taken him around the world) & there's still a bond between us that is stronger than a band of gold.

My parents were  at my friends then, as 99% were male :D I had nothing in common with girls my age & found the lads easy to be around; they had better taste in music & we'd take it in turns to cram into someone's bedroom, lights off, joss sticks smouldering, listening to Dark Side of the late-night-moon-waving-goodbye-smiley-emoticon.gif & Tubular christmas-bells-smiley-emoticon.gif

Actually, I'm not sure what I saw in The Offspring's father; he was a big-time top 20s enthusiast, but my first love has always been something with a bit of oomph & a lodda bass :D The Offspring were brought up listening to soundtracks from 40s thru to latest & appreciate The King alongside Thin White Duke to the stuff they like today, with two of 'em accompanying their ole' mum to a M@dness gig they paid for, for my birthday one year :T Ha.aaaahh *another whimsical sigh* ...thanks for the lovely thoughts you've stirred in my soul MB; I'm sure to settle now I have sweet dreams to entice Sleep my way...sleepy-goodnight-smiley-emoticon.gif

    Good Morning :)

Thank you for the fabby update spoon :A:A

NSD #9 under my belt yesterday. I sent an ebay parcel but I am not counting that ;) I am sure this good run will have to end soon but I just don't need anything at the moment so I am leaving my determined head on and ignoring the kids cries of 'there's nothing to eat in this house' and 'can you get me some.......' The cupboards are semi-full so they won't starve :o They just mean, there is no chocolate/crisps/rubbish for them to graze on :)

Have a happy hump day everyone :D
