Hey Peeps..anyone else fed up with the ruddy "news" today  OTT doesn't come close, & I suppose we'll have another two weeks of it till something more interesting happens!

Yep, totally fed up with it all BM... and there's plenty of other interesting stuff happening at the moment..... North Korea anyone? :(

Now, to business. I've been trying to take up some trousers--tapered legs + alterations = angry-stare.gif --of mine & other family, so the only thing I've been spending is Time :cheesy: That said, I am happy to declare an accumilation of 6 nsds up to & including today.

Tapered leg trousers are a bit tricker to take up than other trousers. You're best to cut them to the length you want first - plus the hem allowance, of course. Then unpick the seams up to where your new hem is going to be and restitch the seams tapering them out slightly. You should be able to turn the new hem up then without the new hem allowance pulling in the bottom of the leg.

You really need this kind of shape for the seam 34qn2gj.png to make it sit properly.

    Hope this helps

PS: Well done for the NSDs :T

Sorry everyone, I seem to be in chatty mode tonight:o:o

Well, having given my NSDs a severe talking-to over the weekend, they seem to be behaving so NSD no 4 has been firmly grabbed now :D

Well done everyone for all the NSDs nabbed today, we're all doing brilliantly:T:T

Very well done paying off the card Fed-up, another reason to get some ready pressed fruit in methinks..:T:T:T:T

NSD 6/20 almost blew it as hearing aid batteries went flat and didn't have spares with me  but fortunately OH had given me an emergency tenner to keep in purse, so I broke into that and as its not my money ---it was still a NSD - phew.

The rest of the day was completely rubbish but at least something was achieved:)

    Good Morning :)

Kerri and MissE, you both get a big gold star for knowing what football match I was on about. I didn't think anyone would have noticed my little team :A It was a brilliant day and I spent all day yesterday sleeping recovering from it :o You know you are getting old when you have a day out (with alcohol) and spend the whole of the next day recovering :o
Still, it brought me NSD #8 so I am not complaining :j:j

The front page is all up to date. Have a great Tuesday :T

Haven't posted for a few days, but pleased to report I'm now up to 7 NSDs for this month. There's a good chance tomorrow will be a NSD too.
