Hi
Can you nice guys advise me if this is worth a go at a claim and do I just send it to the First Choice airlines head office?
Our flight with First Choice airlines from Gatwick to Columbo, Sri Lanka in July 2008 departed on time but about an hour in we were told the plane had a technical fault and we would need to return to Gatwick.
We had to circle for a number of hours dumping fuel before we eventually landed a few hours later. We were put in a hotel and left the next morning on a re-scheduled flight. Total delay was over 15 hours.
I no longer have the tickets, only an email from First Choice with the original flight confirmation.
A search on flightstats.co.uk shows the flight, but it does not show the delay.
Thanks

FCA was took over by Thomson, so perhaps read the Thomson thread to see what's happening to other claimants.Posts are not advice and must not be relied upon.0
