Haha yes, I've heard of that happening a few times, not sure why the person who discovers it doesn't keep it to themselves, but there we go!
I'm more wondering about if the machine has ever started to dispense notes and just not stopped until its been empty! Kinda like its got stuck in a loop or something...0 -
It happened to me about 6 years ago on holiday in Hisaronu Turkey. I had just put my card in and all the power went off in the village and the machine switched off. It finally came back on but didn't dispense my card. A friend who lives there drove us down to the bank in Fethiye and they said to meet them at the machine an hour later. They opened it and I got my card back!0

its happened once in over 30 years to me,and full credit to rbs it was sorted quickly0

It happened to me @ The Woolwich.
Horrid as no money came out and my account was debited. Took a week to get my money re-credited!0
