Changing contract details

I have recently split up from my partner whose phone is in my name, the money is coming out of my account and bills coming to my house. The reason for this is that she has bad credit from university, now has her own business and needed a contract phone.

We bought it in December so it still has 7 months left on the contract. I'm just wondering if there is any way we can change the details over? I know that she has bad credit and thats the reason she couldnt get a phone in the first place, i just want to know if theres anything i can do as i dont want to be reminded every month.

Me keeping the phone isnt an option as i dont have the money for it and it is her business number. Also i dont want to just cancel the contract as she needs it and im not bitter.

Any help?

I do know that O2 require a credit check on changes of name in the contract. They also require a £10 admin fee and paperwork to be filled out. I didn't go through the process since I decided to switch networks.

I know it's not really the answer you wanted but I doubt any network will give out a contract without a credit check. The other option is to buy out the contract and then port the number over to another network or a payg sim.
