Best Deal for UK to Perth Aus

Hi,
We want to visit relatives in Perth, Australia at Christmas and I wondered how you get the best deal on flights. We live in Middlesbrough, so I have been looking at flying from Manchester. The best deal I have seen so far is £1079 each flying from Manchester to Perth with a stop in Doha. This would be flying out on December 12th and returning around 4th January.I found this flight through dealcheckers, which is basically a link to loads of other sites, but wondered if there was a cheaper alternative? I have seen cheaper via South China Airways, but that included 2 stopovers and took twice as long.
Thanks in advance for any help on this.

What about emirates from NCL, you'd save the longer trip to MAN.Posts are not advice and must not be relied upon.0

do Royal Brunei still fly to Perth - used to be a really cheap way to do it - fly into KL or Brunei then onwards to PErth0

i would snap that price up. Flights from London to Perth 22/12 - 04/01 started the year at £980 and are now up to over £1200. Ive been looking to go. Can only presume they'll get higher as the year progresses. Shame you wasn't going in May as they are under £700!0
