TCB are not very clear with the merchants I have searched, for example Benson for beds
No mention on what portion the Cashback is applied, either pre or post Tax and whether Delivery costs can have cashback.
They really should be clearer.
You are 100% correct.
Sometimes not being clear can be of an advantage, but not in your highlighted case.
Both sites I listed above do give the info a purchaser requires.
Quidco states it in the t&cs and '
Important things to know'
10% there at the moment.
http://www.quidco.com/bensons-for-beds/
Imutual state it in their 'GENERAL CONDITIONS'
Stated as both 7.5% and 5% there, so I don't know which one is correct! Guaranteed payment there though with Benson's!

I guess I should calculate it for worse case scenario, being pre tax and ex delivery"It is prudent when shopping for something important, not to limit yourself to Pound land/Estate Agents"

Hey All,
I hope you are enjoying your week.
@B_M - I am enjoying the festive period thank you and looking forward to what the New Year holds. We do try to manage member’s expectations and provide the most realistic estimates. Sometimes we can receive cashback or process receipts quicker than expected. Once we have received your cashback or processed your receipt we will get this added to your account for you. I do hope this goes payable for you in this time frame. If it’s still not payable after the 12 weeks do let us know and we can look into it further for you.
@steve1500 – You do only need to send a picture of the front of the receipt, unless for some reason the date appears on the back. If you then upload the front and back in the same file this will then be processed for you. Checkout Smart should be able to work out what the product is for the specific offer that was on that date. However if you do feel some have been declined incorrectly you can always submit a support ticket for Snap and Save and we can look into it further for you.
@Jag – CheckoutSmart shouldn’t decline your receipt if you submitted the same one for different offers. As you are allowed to use the same receipt for the different offers we have on site. If you do believe this is the reason why they have been declined if you send in a support ticket from your account we can look into this and advise you further on why it was declined.
We would expect Direct Line to track at the correct amount. I would advise you to submit an incorrectly tracked claim for this transaction. Our Claims team will then look into getting this tracking at the correct amount on your account. You can reach the claim form by going to:
Account>Customer Care>Lodge a claim
@csgohan4 I am sorry this isn’t clearer. When we are aware if a merchant doesn’t pay on VAT or delivery charges. I have asked our Sales team to have a look into this further for you. Once they get me an answer we will post in an update for you.
I hope this helps and you all have a good day.
Best Wishes,
Steven“Official Company Representative

Sainsbury's & Morrison's definitely print on both sides.
To upload the front and back you have to make two separate uploads for the same product, you then get a message saying you have already claimed......Private Parking Tickets - Make sure you put your Subject Access Request in after 25th May 2018 - It's free & ask for everything, don't forget the DVLA0 -
I've never used any cashback sites, so just wanted one last confirmation as this is interests me.
Lets say for example I am buying a coat on ASOS (TCB offers 10% cash back on Topman) which originally costs £150, but was reduced on the sale to £100. TCB would then give me back £10?
Also how is it linked to your account.. do you link your TCB to your bank card and its done automatically, or is there a code you use when buying online?
Would it work with a debit card or does it have to be credit card?
Also if I pay using my TSB debit card which offers 5% cashback anyway. Using the above example buying something for £100.. I would get £5 cashback from TSB, plus the £10 cashback from TCB?0 -

Along those lines, yes.
It's not linked to your cards, but is totally separate. Cashback will be credited to your account and once it's paid, you can withdraw it. This can take many months and in some instances over a year. So, take that into consideration and be prepared. Topcashback state that cashback via their site isn't guaranteed, so something else worth considering. Another cashback site for example may offer a 'cashback guarantee'. If the rates are similar (or higher), then that could be a safer option.
Any payment method that the merchant accepts is acceptable, along with Paypal (sometimes). Anything you receive from TSB is an added bonus, as long as you don't have to link from their site. You must click links from your Topcashback account (and be signed in) to benefit from the promoted rates. Topcashback have two tier rates, known as top up bonuses. 1% top up are for normal accounts and 5% top ups are given to their 'Plus' account members - but there is an annual £5 fee for that. Topcashback generally place all members on their 'Plus' trial and many get caught out and pay the £5 fee. If that's not for you, then downgrade after the trial to a non fee paying account. Quidco offers a similar system (saw your post there).
Check out for discount codes as sometimes these can be used along with cashback, but please check. Other times it may be worth forfeiting cashback and just taking the discount, but obviously worth trying both.
Much more and I'll let Topcashback and others add, but it's silly not to take any possible cashback or to be a member of many cashback sites. Use the one that's best for yourself at that time.

Hey All,
I hope you are well and looking forward to the start of 2016.
@Steve1500 – Is it possible for you to get a picture of the front and back of the receipt in the same file? You can do this using something like paint. This will then allow you to upload both sides of the receipt so you can include the date on your upload.
@imjayw – We track cashback through an affiliate network and these base this off your cookies. We don’t have access to your debit card details unless you add them to our site for the OnCard service. Once a transaction tracks to your account we will be sent validation by the merchant through the affiliate network this will then become confirmed on your account. Once we then receive your cashback this will then progress to payable on your account. Hopefully this would be within the given estimate but can sometimes take longer. We do always advise our members not to make a purchase based on the cashback alone as we cannot guarantee it until we receive it from the merchant.
In your example yes you would receive £10 cashback if the offer was for 10% on a £100 purchase. We do also other the Highest Cashback Guarantee so if you find the same offering higher cashback on the same day as your purchase you would be able to claim for this.
@B_M – thank you for your response to imjayw.
I hope you all have a good day and enjoy seeing in the New Year

I posted about a wrongly declined cashback claim in August and received the following reply from the Topcashback rep
:-
@wannaberichbtch Unfortunately people are more like to write negative reviews rather than positive ones. I will be more than happy to take a closer look at your transaction if you would kindly send me an email to mse@topcashback.co.uk and include your transaction date.
Sadly this matter is still unresolved, despite my responding to the rep and directly on Topcashback. Very disappointing, this does not reflect well on either Topcashback or Santander, A very misleading offer.0 -
By the way, you won't get 5% back on online purchases with TSB. This is only for contactless payments.
You can often combine with voucher codes, however or with other cashback credit cards, for example, Amex Gold or Amex Platinum.

Sadly it's still unresolved because you haven't issued a complaint direct to Santander. You may have been mis sold a policy.
The FCA will listen to complaints made against TCB and Santander and the FOS will investigate complaints (and make a ruling if necessary) against Santander. It doesn't usually get that far though.
Put in a support ticket / complaint giving TCB 7 days to pay. If not paid, start your complaint procedure.

Don't mess about with issues from financial merchants. They are well known for underhand tactics. Take them on!
