1 cant say I've had the issue you describe OP.

2 Havent had these checks either and bought apps on the N7 and the previous 2 android phones.

3 Well ive got iPlayer on the go now and it looks fine to me, it does pause for maybe a second now and then. The camera panning wasn't the best on 1 program I checked. Got a clip from Top Gear playing on Youtube and its fine, its not fuzzy at all.

Here are some problems I've encountered so far:

    1) today, earphones plugged in and at max vol barely audible. Common issue and an app needs downloading to boost it. Poor.
I'd say that is down to your choice of headphones, get some that have a sensitivity rating of 100dB/mW (or more) along with an impedance that is as close to 16 ohms as possible and they will be much easier to drive (hence louder).

I have a pair of BeyerDynamic DTX100's and it is very easy to cause hearing damage on my N7 if I play the music for long enough at max volume.

    2) google play, can't buy anything because as mentioned a few weeks back, they want me to email passport etc. dodgy & unnecessary id check which others have encountered too. Haven't looked into this further, I feel it will be too much hassle. May have to buy £10 play vouchers at a time & see if I can purchase that way. Poor
Didn't have to do that when setting up my Play account, and I don't know anyone else who has had to either.

I mean, the ice age film that came with it seems excellent quality, but iplayer & YouTube don't appear to be?

    Any suggestions welcome
I'd guess the settings want adjusting somewhere, but I use Tubemate rather than Youtube so I can't offer much in the way of pointers on that unfortunately.
Understeer is when you hit a wall with the front of your car
Oversteer is when you hit a wall with the back of your car
Horsepower is how fast your car hits the wall
Torque is how far your car sends the wall across the field once you've hit it

    1)
Never had a problem with sound levels (I've used both cheapo £1 and good quality in-ear headphones.) Though "over-the-ear" ones 'might' be an issue if they are not great quality ones that require more power to drive the speaker heads)
Side note : I suggest you go you to your local doctors and request an ENT referal in case it's your hearing that's the issue...

    2)
Been through the google check in the past myself! but it was for my Google+ account (my real name was flagged as offensive so needed to send them confirmation) Once it's was OK'ed in G+ it's good everywhere on Google so never needed to do it again.

    3)
what resolution you playing youtube back at? Think YT defalts to 360p unless you tell it you want High Quality HD streams. 240p and 360p streams can look terrible on N7 screen but 720p looks crisp. but it all depends on the origional video quality before TY got it's hands on it!
