Best PDA / diary?

Thanks all.. only thing is that last week I signed up for a new SIM (12 month cashback contract), so would have to buy the phone/pda outright...
I am not too worried about the size (although I don't want a brick!) as right now I carry around a Filofax everyday, so I am sure a PDA will take up less room.
I was thinking that for the money, a Palm TX might be ok as I only need basic functions? £169 at Amazon seeeeeeems to be the cheapest for that model. I looked at HP Ipaq but they are way too expensive. £169 is my max...
OR can I get a phone/pda for that?MFW #185

If you wanted to save money most phones these days have a reasonable diary/appointment function with todo lists, reminders, notes etc. Plus you will more likely to be always be carrying it with you.0

You normally have a cooling off period for new contracts, 7 days is usually the minimum.
cancel and get a phone/pda on contract. There are some good deals out there. The difference between genius and stupidity is that genius has its limits0 -
Both the E2 and the TX are fine machines. Personally, I have always preferred the Palm OS to Windows for PDAs. Just buy whichever you can truly afford - don't spend the extra on 'features' that you will never use again after the first 3 days.0

Thanks guys - I really think that replacing my paper Filofax with a PDA is the best for me, as I find a phone needs to be small for me to like it! And if the phone is small and a PDA, I won't use it because it's too small... and I won't like it if it's big! For me both of them need to be different - phone slinky and small, PDA with large screen and mainly used as a contact/diary management system.
I know I am fussy, but just replacing the Filofax with something slim will help me out alot. I carry it everyday so I won't have a problem forgetting the PDA.
I think I am going to order the Palm Tungsten E2, it fits my budget and has the main features I need. If I can't survive without wi-fi (which I doubt as I use my PC every day) then later I will upgrade, without having paid too much to start with.MFW #185
