Hi all just a quick follow up. I send a message to "Lending Stream" explaining that "Credit Resource Solutions" were chaing me up on a loan which I never took out and asking them to confirm details of the loan which was apparently taken out in Jan 2011 under my name. Here is the reply which seemed a bit vague to me...
Dear Earnest Andrews ,
Thank you for your email.
We confirm that we have sent a request to Experian to remove the credit search from your credit file on 01/04/2013 and this should be reflected at the credit reference agencies within 30-60 days..
Please be rest assured that we will continue following up with them about your case frequently. We apologies and regret any inconvenience this may have caused you.
Should you require any additional assistance please email us at info@!!!!!!!!!!!!!.co.uk.
Regards,
Fraud Investigation Team,

i all I would just like to warn all regarding the company Credit Resource Solutions> I have posted on here previously after they sent me a letter demanding almost £2000 for a supposed pay day loan which I never took out. They asked me to send a pound so they could release the paper work. However I decided to get in contact with the pay day loan company who they claimed to be working on behalf of and they informed me that NO SUCH LOAN WAS TAKEN OUT UNDER THAT NAME OR ADDRESS. I then got back in touch with CRS and informed them of this. However a week later I got another letter stating that as I have not acted on the previous message they were now sending someone to my house to collect the debt. Anyway after loads of threats and phone calls on my part they have finally sent me a letter stating that they will no longer persue me for the debt and it was now closed.
My advice to anyone in this situation...
DO NOT SEND A CHECK FOR £1. They will then have your bank details and signiture. Also they legally have to prove you took out the debt.
REPORT TO THE POLICE. They cannot send you threatening letters saying they will send someone round to collect the debt unless they have a court order.
CONTACT THE COMPANY THEY CLAIM TO BE ACTING ON BEHALF OF.
If you are 100% that the debt is not yours then first report it to the police then IGNORE all correspondence from CRS
Cheers

CRS are acting on behalf on LS, and LS shouldve recalled the debt after you contacted them.
LS seemed to have dealt with it fairly well, but Ernie some companies just wont listen!Promo codes are never always cheaper..... isnt that right EuropCar?0
