contract phone that he doesnt like, can he

Hi,
My son has a contract phone for 18 months and got a w850i free but he doesnt like it and wants to sell it so he can get another. Does anyone know if this is allowed or does he have to hold onto it until the end of the contract and then have to give it back?

he has to get the mobile contract transferred to somebody else which means that the person would have to pass a credit check.
Otherwise, he is stuck with it and should choose more wisely next time.

Think she meant the phone only!!..... Yes you can just sell the phone and keep the contract sim, buy a new phone and stick the sim in it.... job done

He wants to keep the contract but not the phone-he can use the simcard in another phone but we dont know whether he can pass on the w8501 phone onto someone else or will he have to return it to Tmobile at the end of the contract?

no problem, i have sold probably 15 contract phones over time...... get a new phone and flog it straight away....
