That's not what was said on The Andrew Neill show last week. He was said to have enhanced his reputation by all the commentators on the show.

Is this show on the BBC by any chance?

    Typical Labourite argument as follows:
Labour supporter: Labours plans were better
ANOther: I havent seen any of their plans. Have you
Labour supporter: They would cut less, cut VAT and stimulated the economy.
Everyone else: Hmm. Details? No? Thought not

I mean, seriously, this economy is getting a 120bn pound stimulus this year, and its still struggling to grow. What makes you think an extra 10bn would have made any difference? Oh, hang on, the GDP figures would have shown a slight increase on the back of the borrowing. It wouldnt be any actual private company led economic growth.

VAT cut is dangled to the public as a vote winner. Has nothing to do with sound financial management. As those that voice it struggle to explain how the additional borrowing is funded.

All we do know is that the current way of dealing with everything is not working very well and we will never know how Labours plans would of worked (yes probably a giant failure but we will NEVER know)

Choice of Cameron or Milliband??? I'd rather walk round London with a rusty nail in my foot

I would suggest Labours initial plans would have been similar.

International events since 2010 have changed the landscape some what.

So the UK has to rise to face the challenges internally.

Interesting poll found that David Cameron, and the Conservatives, are the most trusted when it comes to the economy.
Will wait till the General election for the real poll on who trusts Camecon and his cronies.

Euro elections next year. So Labour will need to start showing their hand.

I agree, but I do think that the Tories need to do something really popular to overcome the UKIP factor in 2015, and that even then Labour will have to be very bad not to win. Not that it will make much difference either way in terms of policies.
Few people are capable of expressing with equanimity opinions which differ from the prejudices of their social environment. Most people are incapable of forming such opinions.

Bigger concern to all the parties. May be rise of local independents. Who fight on local issues, issues that really matter to people. I suspect many people are tired of local politics being connected to Central Government. Often with little to no relevance.
