More people trust Cameron on the economy than anyone else

Interesting poll found that David Cameron, and the Conservatives, are the most trusted when it comes to the economy. I'm glad the British public aren't complete morons.

There are other people - who are not 'complete morons' either - who do not regard the coalition's stewardship of the economy quite so positively:

The coalition is now cutting slower than Labour would have done (despite having called those plans reckless and dangerous)..
What plans? If you know please tell us.
Labour have opposed every coalition move. So difficult to understand what they would have done.
Except the tax the rich. Of which there aren't enough of. :eek:0 -

Of course this does not mean they think the Government is managing the economy well..........61% say they are doing it badly

Most people are incapable of forming such opinions.0 -
You just have to look at Labour to see what Cameron's favoured. Wouldn't it be great to have a leader of a party who had experience in the real world - understood joe public and actually came out and did something radical and refreshing to sort problems?0

and cameron taxes the poor of which there are millions
in case you hadnt noticed labour are the opposition they are paid to oppose, but whats important is what labour would do,reduce vat, invest for jobs, slow the cuts until we have some real growth
whats really odd is how this govt is even failing at what they say they are good at,cutting the debt which will be 45% higher when they leave office, cutting the deficit..a plan now 3 years delayed..and yet we still have a zombie economy0 -

That's not what was said on The Andrew Neill show last week. He was said to have enhanced his reputation by all the commentators on the show. What, you mean spend marginally more and tax the rich less by maintaining tax rates above the maximum point on the Laffer Curve?
It would have made no difference to outcomes at all.0
