Advice moving to a non-Virgin area

We are moving in 3 weeks but are on an 18 month contract with Virgin dated from June 2012 paying £40 a month for M+ tv, Broadband L and phone.
Where were moving to there isn't any Virgin connection so I'm going to have to cancel. My question is that as Virgin can't provide their services in our new area can we get out of our contract?

Yes, as to what fee you may be required to pay them is another matter.
I would ask them to transfer the services to your new location even though you know that they are not available then discuss options available.
Then you will need to have a look at new services, if not I recommend a site called Kitz co uk. To see what is available at your new location.0 -
No you can't. You will be charged the full ETC applicable according to your contract; the amount per month outstanding for each service is shown on the website. You contracted for the minimum term at the current address only, and VM, like all other telcoms, do not guarantee universal service across the UK.
You can migrate the phone and broadband to Virgin National (a resold ADSL BT Wholesale product), but it's not recommended, and will start you on a new minimum term contract. The TV (obviously) cannot be moved, as no cable supply.
This one gets asked every week, but the answer does not change. No free lunch, and no free laptop

Yes, you can get out of the contract. You can cancel at any time, however you'll be liable to pay the remaining balance for the time left to go until the minimum term ends.0

VM can offer BB just about everywhere - they'll offer you their ADSL Virgin National option. It didn't used to have much of a reputation so you may well be better off taking the early termination hit.0
