That's great. I wasn't planning on using them as my main account (I'm happy with Barclays) but the more I read the more I'm swayed!

    Eighth Anniversary
I've used Barclays for 15 years. They are brilliant never had a problem lets hope First Direct and Halifax are just as good.

I've had a buyer collecting today and posted a few items after postage charges and eBay fees i'm left with 39.93. So been a good day.

I also remembered to take lunch to work today so saved another £3. It's surprising how quick it all adds up.

First direct are exceptional, even in the 3 months I've been using them I can see a huge difference between banks. They are like the m&s of banks!!

Did some more surveys on my survey and drew down £3 yay, plus in laws were so pleased with OH and how he has sorted everything out for them-putting furniture/ornaments etc back in place-he even cleaned the windows that they gave him £80-nearly fell over. He tried to say it was too much, but they just said use it for the grandkids and shoved it in his hand. OH would have done it all for free as he knows how any issues/dirt would have driven them crazy. His mum had dirty clothes in the washer within minutes of getting home (we went to Disney with them a few years ago and she spent a couple of hours on the last day in the laundrette-to avoid too much dirty washing at home bless her lol), but its nice to get some extra.

'Made' money (by not spending really but it still goes towards my holiday fund!) I used a load of clubcard vouchers and 2 for 1 deals this weekend in London to save £69.25! However will now look into ways of earning bits of money here and there. Also found an amazon voucher from an underspend from my last lot from topcashback, totalling 2.37
