  • Sold a crochet pattern through the night, so thats another £2.25 in the pot, very nearly almost at £100, have my fingers crossed I will get there by the end of the day.

I'm so glad I decided to join this challenge, it has really given me the push I needed to get things moving. :money:

Wow, so great to see everyone doing so well. I may have made £25 on E*b*y but the auction hasn't ended. I nearly didn't bother with listing this month but signing up to the challenge spurred me on!

For those asking about music magpie

    http://www.musicmagpie.co.uk/?gclid=COb059fFtbYCFRDKtAodvDgAtQ#

they do buy clothes but I think you will find they don't offer much.

My friend's daughters had brand new designer jeans never worn decided they didn't like them, went on music magpie, told their mum they have found somewhere to sell them. They were being offered a ridiculous price. Have told their mum to list them on FB selling page.

yep just been offered £1.09 for a jumper that I can sell for £10

  • Have been pounding away at survey sites yesterday, and got enough to claim a 5.00 Swagbucks voucher. There's a few more sites getting very close to being able to claim as well, so should be more this month from that source.

I was going to do some Ebaying but the battery on my camera ran out!! It's pitiful I know, but I can't afford to replace it until next week :( but I shall pounce on son when he gets back from work and get him to use the phone on his camera, to help earn his keep!!! :D

.. and speaking of DS, I'm hoping he passes his driving test this month so's I can get him to drive me up to a local car boot sale. We can have a massive clear-out and see what sells.

I have checked out my local FB selling page but it's very meagre, not many folks on it and not much for sale. If I get anything suitable I'll give i a go, but most people in our town do Freecycle instead (which is fabulous, but no actual cash to be made!)

So a quiet-ish day, but plenty of stuff to try and do this weekend. Checking in here sure helps keep me on track! :D

well done Djelhi-Bhelli. It does help to either log in and post or to read, it keeps you motivated especially when you feel that you aren't making anything, and other people's ideas inspire you.

About FB Selling page, when I first started mine a year ago, I had 70 people that I added from my friend's list who had no intention of ever looking or selling.

A year later I am nearly in the 400s and some of those friend's from early on, are now selling on my FB page.

So worth getting involved with your selling page, promote it amongst your friends, tell everybody about it, and that might help boost numbers. People are turning more and more to FB selling as most people can access on their phone, on tablets, etc. no fees for listing/reselling, etc.
  • Does anyone know of a site which buys old, broken electrical items, like you can with mobile phones?

I have a viewsonic tablet, which the screen cracked on, I've been told by viewsonic that they will not repair, as it is not cost effective  I HATE this throw away society we live in where things are cheaper to replace, rather than repair........no wonder all our natural resources are running out :(

Anyways, does anyone know of anywhere which might buy it, it's better to get a few quid for it and have the parts re-used than just throw it in the bin. I did try listing on ebay, but no interest
