LG Optimus L5 smartphone available from £12 per month on a year contract
Vodafone MVNO Talkmobile, which is not related to Talktalk, sells the LG Optimus L5 for £12 per month on a one year contract, that’s a total cost of ownership of £144 which is not bad for what you get. The package includes 100 minutes, 5,000 texts and 250MB data which will suit the lightest users.
As for the phone itself, it was launched at MWC last year and is an entry level model. It has a 4in 480 x 320 pixel display (yielding one of the lowest pixel densities on any current smartphone), a single-core Qualcomm MS7225A SoC clocked at 800MHz, 512MB RAM, 4GB onboard storage, a microSD card slot, a 5-megapixel rear camera, a VGA front facing one, a 1,500mAh battery Bluetooth 3.0, NFC and a microUSB 2.0 port.
Surprisingly for a device of that price, the LG Optimus L5 runs on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.
