New to me too, something learnt though. Surely it would be hard though to enforce as they would have to prove you inspected it when it could esaily be said you were browsing and not inspecting.
It would be a bit hard for the OP in this case to say she were only 'browsing' in store when she'd had a discussion about the dress.
