Really? Just looked at a receipt I had in my bag from yesterday, a £2.47 spend. Used a 100point voucher for the poo tablets, says I received a total of 112 from the transaction.
Actually I cant figure out how that works, as 4 points per £, and it's now a full pound required for points... I should've only had 108....? Erm... ermm...
one day i'll understand the receipts in boots
Not sure how you ended up with the 12 points from the spend, but I think if the voucher is for extra points on a particular item, you get the extra points but not the base points that you would have got for that item. Seeing as the diarrhea tablets went through free, you wouldn't have got any basic points for them anyway.
It's near impossible to work out Boots receipts, but if somebody has one where they have used an extra points voucher for an item, and then paid for that item (do we ever pay for stuff though?!), that would help. I seem to remember this conversation starting off when a member (zztopgirl?) had a run-in with some SAs when questioning why she hadn't got points on the value of Clinique items, and 'only' the bonus 750 points from a voucher...0 -
Well if you don't get all the points, they're not "extra" are they? they're "instead-of"!
"Here's a voucher for 'instead-of' points" doesn't have quite the same ring to it though, does it?:rolleyes:0 -
They go on as extra online. What if you spent £200 and had a voucher for 100 points surely you wouldn't forgo the the points on the spend for using 1 100 point coupon.0

I would be interested in knowing if the parenting voucher will work with the 1000 point promotion tooI dont see why it shouldnt work - lots of other points offers work together
Cant see me buying expensive products to use the parenting voucher, but could be tempted if the 1000 point one works with it! What 2 products cost £22?
Pity you dont get triple points for vouchers:p

CLARINS have the mens lip guard for £9 which is the cheapest item and lots more under £15(sorry i don't know how to add a link) they have £12 sun control stick which would be useful and other bits such as eye makeup remover £13.50 .I have never purchased clarins before but would do so if it was worth combining witht he vocuher for points. The clarins sa is unapproachable in my store so don't really know what to do?Love can tame the wildest0

Leeds Shopping Week 07 runs from Thursday 24th May – 2nd June
Boots are joining in the fun by giving 1000 points on a £50 or over spend during this event.
There are flyers in the Council offices showing this deal (I work in one).Josey0 -

No its the estee lauder gift set in store at the moment till the first week in june.I got it to day .Cheapest item is the sharpners at £4.95 so I bought a lippy I needed at £14 and a sharpner and got the set free.
CHEAPEST WAY TO GET IT -Tip is to ask for 2 full priced items then casually ask if they have any of their sharpners too. Then get gift set and say you have more shopping to do.Then take one item you dont need out your basket leaving you the sharpner & one full priced item & pay t he main tills or just 2 sharpners if you are brazen enough !
Although it is triple points tomorrow a lot of the advantage machines are sometimes switched off or dont print bonus spend vouchers so its just luck if you can print a total spend voucher too.
PARENTING CLUB 750 POINTS VOUCHER -everytime I have used one of these they have not scanned automatically and have had to be over rode.So if you dont want too much fuss I wouldnt use one if you are buying 2 sharpners to get a free gift set !0
