Hi this is my first post, i have been reading your tips for the last week and have had a great time at boots. But i have just returned from Boots @ The Mall Bristol.
Heres what happened.
1. Tried to buy a max faxtor eyeliner £4.49 to see if i could get the GWP. Wont go through till.
2. Had a £5 roc voucer from previous GWP. Noticed they had some roc GWP, picked it up and a bottle of £6.95 toner. Then the Roc woman caught me and said i have to buy their crappy £27 foundation. Put that back.
(getting annoyed now!)
3. Looked at the mouth wash could only see triple points it you buy a bottle.
4. Spotted 4 JK nail files, paid for them but no bonus points issued? Think they have cottoned on? Now i am stuck with 4 JK nail files i dont really want. Can i return them?
5. Noticed a new line of fcuk toiletries. Get a free gift set worth £5 if your spend £8 on products. didnt try to swindle that one.
Rant over.Best wins: Trip to Jack Daniels Distillery, Holiday to Turkey, Holiday to Scotland, SATC necklace! Holiday to Ibiza, £500 Tea set. £1500 black diamond ring, £1000 office in a box, £5000 camping equipment, £2000 golden balls cash!0 -
Think I just did quite well...
Bought revon Skinlights (9.95). Used metro coupon from last week for a free lipstick with revlon purchase. Also an offer instore spend over £10 on revlon and get a free nail varnish (i know it's £8 online but said £10 in shop), tried it and worked with 9.95 spend. Also mentioned that the 300 free points sign was still on the skinlights (technically might hav expired but the sign was still up) and SA happily added them on for me. All for £9.95.
Pretty happy!!!odi et amo0 -
cheekyweegit wrote: »Hiya folks,
Just a wee note to say I got a mailing in the post today with the following vouchers:-
500 points when you spend £15 on electricals / beauty including hair dryers, straightners, lady shavers and epilators (I won't use this so if anyone wants it PM me).
100 points when you buy any botanics facial skin care product x 2
100 points when you buy any botanics for men product (mmm do you think botanics vouchers are related to the amount of soaps / moisturisers I got in the Jan glitch for personal use (it's lovely and I prefer it to the No stuff i was using)).
Boots therapy shower gel plus buy one get one free for 99p
buy 1 get 1 half price natural collection colour cosmetics (won't use this either, again PM me if you want it.)
£2 to spend on boots digital processing, doesn't seem to be a limit other than total cost must be at least £2.
AND FINALLY DOUBLE POINTS COUPON!!!!!!
Hope this helps.
How does His Dudeness get such a mailing?

My husband, not the lithe young figure of a man that he once was, literally stands there and blocks my way so I often have to turn around and go down another aisle to get past him. I think he gets some perverse pleasure out of it. I send him off the WHSmiths or Currys and off he goes but within 2 minites he is back, standing glued to me. This is not just Boots, its in every shop but Boots is the worst. Sadly he is chief driver and bag carrier so if I go shopping off home territory I have to take him with me. Being polite and asking him to shift his carcass does not work and neither does getting annoyed. I suppose some day he will take the hint :rotfl:
Marylittle_laura wrote: »Lol...my dp is just like that....he'll either say things rather loudly at the till like 'oh so Boots are paying you to take things away' or he'll just stand there looking so shifty as if we're shoplifting!!! So he's now banned from Boots trips with me.“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”0
