this bootsing used to be so much fun - i feel like the last few months have been rubbish in comparision to the golden times of genuinely free stuff we could get!!

Made the mistake of going into Boots with my 81 yr old Dad, had told him that I HAD to go in there at the crack of dawn to buy armfuls of mouthwash.......big mistake. He followed me around practically shouting "What's a glitch?" "Isn't it illegal?" and other little gems. I had to run away in the end and went back on my own.......never again:eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:

:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: THANKS for making me laugh so much i now have tea all over keyboard.It reminds me of the constant arguements i have with my dad in town when he follows me into boots to get his phone topped up- i insist i can manage all on my own (im 25 btw)and i don't need him to act as security guard but he just can't understand why i love going into boots on my own.Maybe he thinks I'm having an affair with the manager or something:D thats an idea i could get a truckload of boots goodies that way!!

My boots (gloucester) has the till set up so you HAVE to buy £15 of Max Factor. Keeps beeping when the GWP gets scanned if you haven't

Lol...my dp is just like that....he'll either say things rather loudly at the till like 'oh so Boots are paying you to take things away' or he'll just stand there looking so shifty as if we're shoplifting!!! So he's now banned from Boots trips with me.

Yes, shoplifting was mentioned as well!! Something like "Hmmpphhh,You're practically shoplifting then" You can see why I had to run!

Oh god MadJen's dad tale is too funny!

Just rang my Mum and read it out to her - she thinks she's dead cool about Bootsing but always manages to look really guilty or shifts about from one foot to another like she needs a wee :rotfl: :rotfl:
