    Hello everyone,

I received my boots mailing today with a 500ponits voucher for a spend over £15 on electrical items. I have been looking at the Phillips Epilator, which is half price. Has anyone used an epilator? Are they any good?

    Thanks

i only managed half a leg so painful, but i have a low pain threshold

Don't know if the offer's still on but they were 3 for 2 instore on tuesday. Otherwise, superdrug do the same stuff and that's quite often on offer so if you're not too fussed about the points try there as well. Lots of different ones, i like the coconut!

  • Thanks for that...what other offers are in store?

not sure about other offers, but at least around 1030am today, @ Sheffield high st. they have plenty clearance photo albums, (Slip-In, 140 Photos / 6" x 4" / faux suede / RRP £8.00), for £4.00, and BOGOF.

The new MF gift is instore but be warned the tills are primed and if you havent spent the reuqired £15 on MF products the till will beep and say gift threshold not met. Some lucky bootser on the forum said they did a dry run yesterday and got it for less than £15 spend on MF like the boxes of before.

Hi, I remember the details since I followed her advice and got myself one of the Boots Intensive Conditioners.
She posted the link to this one (henna and chestnut) but she mentioned the coconut one as the one she bought.
I actually bought the chamomile one, because my hair (colour) is light and between henna/chestnut and chamomile (the only ones available when I went shopping) I thought it would be better to go lighter, since I'm not sure if it does something to the colour. Perhaps the coconut would have been a good option if it had been available. Haven't used it though... (the stock of toiletries etc grows and grows!!!)

    edit: here is the post:

If anyone here is suffering with dry, frizzy or damaged hair my neice has used a hair straightening treatment ,as
well as using various hair dyes and it has made a real mess of her hair over the months we have tried the Charles Worthington,Lee Stafford treatments amongst others, nothings made a scrap of difference.

I spotted this Boots intensive condtioner it was only £1.99 a tub and thought its got to be worth a shot that was nearly two weeks ago,the difference is amazing its at long last sleek and shiny and a good deal of the frizziness has gone. There are various ones in the range we got her the Coconut & Almond one. She has been putting it on her hair whilst dry sitting around for a few hours and then washing it off, when she shampoos it.

As its now on 3 for 2 I got her the shampoo and got a tub of this for myself and used it the same way,my own hair is lovely shiny and soft.I would have passed this by myself it was sheer desperation that made me consider buying it.

So if anyone in the family is having a real problem with their hair we can reccomend this
