Sorry to hear about your AC, cupcake.

Maybe you should suggest to Boots C/S that the initial screen on the ACM that tells you the balance in BIG FAT letters is removed. It's for customer's safety, so surely must be in their interest.

Maybe they'll even credit you some points for your suggestion.

Awww, well hopefully you'll get your points back as you acted quickly! They can't have got too far if it was stopped so soon, that many points would mean trolley fulls of shampoo and they'd never have got away fast enough before you beat them round the head with a No7 P&P!

    Fingers crossed for tomorrow...

thats awful cupcake. I do hope everything gets sorted for you. (i was gutted when mine was taken from the ac machine with £30+ on it, so cant imagine what its been like for you)

On a happy note, I received a mailing from Boots today (first in a very long time) with lots of offers on it. The coupons I got were -

500 points when you spend £15 on electrical beauty
200 points when you buy Pretty Polly shaping knickers
300 points when you spend £20 on No7
200 points when you spend £10 on Trevor Sorbie, Mark Hill or Lee Stafford
300 points when you spend £10 on Soap & Glory
£2 to spend on Boots Digital Processing
Buy 1 get 1 half price on Natural Collection Cosmetics

and my favourite - double points coupon - collect 8 points per £1 and I can use it twice and in conjunction with any voucher above!!!!

I'm well chuffed with this, maybe they are on their way to other Bootsers?!

It also says that to "Get Beach Gorgeous" there will be exclusive in store events including exciting demos, mini makeovers and much more at Boots Meadowhall on Saturday 7th July and Sunday 8th July

    Hello Boots gurus

Firstly, sorry to cupcake, that is awful....it's the same as stealing money. Hope it all turns out ok. And don't worry about the offers when you get your new card - they carry on as if it were the old one! :T :T :T :T :T

Now, took DD out today for her first Boots shop with her OWN CARD! I had told her all about the JK nail files, there are none in our local boots so we went further afield. She has been my accomplice on many poo tablet missions so knows the score. As the card is new there was a lovely double points for two spends voucher to be used so I suggested that she bought 4 JK files and would get 2000 points that she could use for whatever she wanted in the future...... I even said that I would give her £4 for two of the files but she keep the points.

Alas, her receipt only shows 1000 points and 32 "ordinary" points, not the double that (I think) it should have been. Even the ordinary should have been 64????????:confused::confused:

Can any of you kind souls put me right/confirm that I am right before I telephone CS tomorrow??

    Thanks

    Jen and fledgling bootser

Cupcake..... So sorry to hear your news, thats an awful lot of points, so fingers crossed the card gets cancelled in time!! I have about £35 on my card and would be devestated if it went AWOL.

Agree with other posters..... having your name and points total come up on the screen for all to see is blatantly NOT a good idea!!! :naughty: Maybe if a few of us email Boots they will do something about it????

another thing on this leaflet, and I cant see it anywhere on the board, is a free Max Factor Summer Essentials Bag (worth £25) when you spend £15 or more on all Max Factor - says its from 20/06/2007 onwards. Bag is yellow and black, like a toilet bag, and from the picture it shows 2 bottles of Pantene, Olay complete care day cream, Olay complete care night cream, a fold up mirror, an eyeliner pencil and a lip gloss tube.

If I can get a picture up, I'll post it :o

    EDIT - heres a pic
