Fellow Bootsers, today is a sad day indeed. My trusty AC, of many years service, and a mighty £350 worth of points accrued, is no more.
Some ****** toerag nicked it.
Felt a bit funny when I used the machine today, lots of people around, felt like I was being *watched*. Of course the screen (massive) shows your points value to the world. I printed off my vouchers, tucked the card back in my purse, and did a few bits. Got the the checkout - card gone
Retraced steps, nowhere to be seen. Checked all pockets, bag, etc over and over and over. (Feeling very very sick by now, and possibly in need of the poo tabs). Asked all SA's if one had been handed in - nope. DD had noticed a shifty chap at the AC machine so made the assumption it had been 'lifted'. So V.NICE  No7 lady phoned CS on her phone and I had the card stopped.
Lessons learnt:
1. Try to avoid letting others seeing the screen (tricky I know, maybe need to get a giant bodyguard??)
2. Have a v. safe and permanent location for the AC card and NEVER EVER just 'tuck it in'.
I have to phone CS tomorrow to make sure the toerag has not purloined many or indeed any of my lovely points as apparently it takes 24 hours to update. They will send a new card ASAP, but I have a nasty feeling I'm back to square one on the AC machine offer front. Probaby just get the blessed 342 list from now on

How awful for you! makes me feel I,ve been quite lucky today. You wont lose your points though will you? I would have been sick, and I have nowhere near that amount, still sometimes have more on my ad card than my debit card. Have to watch everything nowadays:T:jDabbler in all things moneysaving.Master of none:o

That is what my mum says too, she had nearly £200 on her card and she was paranoid about people seeing the screen when she used it too.
Dont have that problem now as she used them to buy me a birth to potty kit of resuable nappies!! lol :j
