has anyone ever had an order delivered with medicine in that needs a signature? do they always deliver to your house, or will they leave at a neighbours?? thanks
I got home to find a note through the door saying they had left it with my neighbour at No. 13. (They didn't even try my friend's door)
So - yes it does need signed for but they will leave it with a neighbour if they sign for it instead.0 -
Boots Chadderton (the small one near Asda) has all its Maybelliene Cosmetics at half price as they are discontinuing it at this store and the SAs are letting you use the £2 off vouchers so you can get loads of stuff free or for very little!

I had an order delivered with ibruprofen in it which said it needed a signature. As I was worried they would take it back if I wasn't at home I put a note on the order that they could leave it with my friend at Number 26.

It also seems to be at the discretion of the store manager. My local store won't allow .com refunds, so I take them to a different store instead
Ive been away on hols (didnt need poo pills but at least I had em just in case!) and just catching up on the thread....
Do you guys buy stuff off .com and get the points then take it back to a store for refund????
Sorry if I got it wrong!:money: Martin Lewis Rocks!:money:0 -

I agree about the first post and this thread getting long. Not sure who the mods are? Perhaps someone could start a new thread and update the first post?
I'd do it, but not sure how?!?0 -

I can't understand what is wrong with taking advantage of an online glitch - I'm still spending the money in Boots as the refunds are given on a giftcard - apart from one that I said I'd got with points and got a credit that way.
But you're right - we all have our limits I guess.

that's not the intention when we shop on Boots online - however sometimes , for whatever reason, if you have to take items you bought online back to a store you end up getting more money instore than what you paid for it online (due to the two having different offers and prices at the same time) or they may not take the points off your card. Like i said that's not the intention when buying online, but sometimes you end up better off!.
HTH:hello:  It's official I'm addicted to Boots - the total on my Advantage Card has gone over £300  :hello:0 -

There is nothing wrong with that if there is a genuine reason for returning it, it is just good luck.
It is people that buy the glitches to return to the store so they can get the full price refunded that I have a gripe with. In the long run it will spoil it for us bootsters. It is one thing taking advantage of coupon glitches and points glitches and another to be purposly profiting from returning stuff from dot.com for more money0 -
When oh when is the *spring* sale going to be over? At my house its SUMMER!!!:rotfl:
Time for the Summer Sale please Boots!
(Oh and some nice new glitches on lovely things like shampoo, conditioner, and deodorant please).
