I bought something online which was half price @ £7.49, now it's £3.74 so I've ordered again but instore it's £14.99, if I return the £7.49 one how much will I get back? Only returning as it's cheaper now.

EDIT to add I don't want to get more back than I paid but with it being down to £3.74 online I want the full £7.49 back.

Has anyone ever returned something bought online to a Boots store. I had a new car seat, it arrived Monday, didnt have time to put it in car (luckily) had a crash on Tuesday (car a right off) and now insurance company are replacing car seat but the receipt for it has to be after the crash date. I tried tp return today and the sales assistant said no, she checked with manager and still said no! Tried 1 more Boots as we were on our way to Asda (they are next to each other)-no problem and she didnt take any advantage points off me ( I had ordered it on triple points weekend, car seat had extra points and used a code. All together 2059 extra points). Not complaining

Why take back the car seat to have to buy another if it wasnt damaged as wasnt in the car?
    Hope everyone was OK.

Managed to get kangol hair putty today for 33p, bought 3 so 66p for 3. Very pleased.

My old car seat (which is getting 2 small for dd)was in car. I hadn't put the new one in so insurance company are replacing the 1 in the car and then i would have 2, so needed to return the new 1. If that makes sense

hello when did you place your magazine order and when did you receive your gift? I am thinking of subscribing! thanks x
I placed my order on 23rd May but thought the website only said about 1 free lipstick so I assumed the offer mentioned with the extras must have finished but thought even getting a £9.00 lipstick free made it worth the money.

Anyway postman put a card through the door yesterday to say there was a parcel at the post office for me and when I picked it up I was delighted to find I also got the same letter saying they had been overwhelmed by demand and have run out of the Angel lipstick so they have had to give two of one of the other colours of lipstick and have some suncare as well. Considering I was only expecting one lipstick this was an added bonus. The whole lot must be worth about £40/£50

    I got :
    • 2 x Sweet Lips No.7 Stay Perfect Lipsticks
    • 1 x Cafe No.7 Stay Perfect Lipstick
    • 1 x 50ml Energising Facial Suncare Factor 25
    • 1 x 200ml Firm-Your-Body Tan Maintainer
    • 1 x 200ml Firm-Your-Body Sun Lotion Factor 15
Needless to say I'm delighted. Well worth placing an order to see if you get the same and not bad for an overall outlay of only £1.20 (after Quidco cashback) and you also get the bonus of the six months of magazines.

The only thing I would have preferred was if they had sent me two of the Cafe coloured lipsticks instead of the 2 Sweet Lips as I probably won't wear the pinky one (prefer brown colours), so if anybody got two of the Cafe and wants to swap for a Sweet Lips, let me know

p.s. I only got the letter from them yesterday saying my subscription will start with August's issue so like someone mentioned earlier you could probably cancel after you receive the free gift.

p.p.s. A big big thank you to the person who let us know about this in the first place
  • I signed up to this a short while ago, checked at Magazine group & it was rejected, phoned them up but they have just given me the publishes number. Anycase DH has just done it for me on his account so we'll see what happens then.

Had a good shop this morning:

    2 x 7pk Boots hayfever tablets (BOGOF)
1x Bourjois 1 sec nail varnish
1 x Olay Age def wipes

Handed over extra points voucher for £7.50 or over spend, 20% off Boots hayfever tablets, £2 off Bourjois/Maybeline products, 2 x £3 off Olay cloths

Paid £4.64 and got 228 points back – hayfever tablets were actually for DH so he gave me £2.69 so basically I paid out £1.95 for my wipes and nail varnish.
    Tesco points: 101 (£21.50, £19.50, £7.50, £21 & £5)
    Boots points: £0.28
    Pigsback points: 715 (4 xBoots£10 & 1 xPizzaHut£10, 2 x £10 clothing vouchers)
    Mutual points: 3417 (redeemed 8250)
    Rpoints:redeemed 28925 points)Cashbag:£8.91(£20)

Which means that you are obviously on your soap box and referring to me!

FYI I didn't intentionally buy them to take them back but as my first one sold on ebay for £5.20 I was left with little choice.

Hmmmm seems it's ok to fleece Boots as long as....................??
..........well I'm not too sure but it sure sounds like pot - kettle - black to me
