I think AnnaPantsCats posted a list recently, but I can't seem to find it. Agreed, it would be very useful to have it on p1 if someone could find it.

I cant find it either now :rotfl: It was on the old thread somewhere.

But post number 156 on this thread is far more concise than my list was anyway :T
2008 gig list... Nickelback + Staind (OMG...Staind ROCKED!!), Roger Waters, Infadels, Pendulum, The Police, K T Tunstall, Breed 77, Biffy Clyro....oh, and Motorhead :D

    Mixed fortunes today.

Stupid ACM not working, so no voucher.

But did manage 342 expert toothpaste trick mentioned before and can confirm it take discount off all 3.

    So 1x £3.99, 1 x £3.99, and 1.£0.00, then Expert discount of 3 x £2.00.

    So 3x toothpaste, for £1.98! :T

    Hi all,

I guess glitches work both ways. Here is my latest problem with boots. My card stopped working in the middle of a bootsing session so I had my other receipts validated and called CS when I got home to get a replacement. On that day I had around 2000 points and after the purchases (before the card stopped working) I had accummulated about 500 points.

I get the new card and the next day I go shopping. I notice that the balance on the machine is only 2000. I make my purchases, update with the validated receipts (getting 200 points) but all the time the initial balance is 2000. As soon as I get home I call CS again and inquire where the points went, and the lady says not to worry since the balance on their system is 2500 and all the purchases of the day will add to this total, despite what the receipts say (on the internet it also has the 2500 value, since the purchases of the day take some time to show on the total).

A few days later I check the internet and there is only 2200 points!!! I call them again and inquire about the missing points. It took them a while (I guess they were manually adding the points I had made in the mean time) and finally I'm told they will put 5xx points on my card to collect at the ACM. After all the trouble I went to, I got exactly the missing points back... hmm I keep hearing about people being given points for their trouble but all I got was what I was entitled to... But enough being grumpy, at least I got them back.

So watch out the next time you request a new card, since in the mean time you may lose some points in the process. Keep the receipts.
