Have you tried your own advice of using Experian:mad: instead of Equifax:cool:?

Equifax are 100 x better than Experian in my, and everyone else's, experience.

Anyway, none of them should be paid £10 to see a report. It costs £2 to see all your data with main two and FREE with noddle!

I used this website to get an alternative number.
  • Hello,

I paid £2 online to get my credit report from Equifax a couple days ago. Today I couldn't log in to my account so I called them. After answering many security questions and getting them all correct, they wouldn't give me access to my account unless I gave them information relating to the last 6 years on any loans, credit cards, mortgages etc I have. What does anyone make of this? Advice appreciated!

I'm pleased that they do this. They can't just offer up your full credit history to anyone who knows a few of your details and pays £2. Answer the questions. They are there to verify you and to protect your personal information
  • I've also been locked out of Equifax despite entering my correct details. After a 45 mins wait to speak to someone (at 5p per minute), I finally got back onto the system, only for it to lock me out again and left me with a message saying that I had to phone up to unlock my account. I've been paying £6.99 each month and getting no service from them. DO NOT USE EQUIFAX. I had a far better service from Experian. I'm now phoning back to cancel my subscription. Here goes more wasted money!

Why are you paying £7 every month? What more do you think you are getting than you would get by paying £2 every 2 months for your statutory report? People that pay £7+ a month to Experian or Equifax are throwing money away unnecessarily
