I think NatWest is withdrawing this as mum had a maestro card from them which was changed by the bank a few years ago to a visa debit, but she has had a letter in the last week or so stating that when the card expires she will be issued with a cash point card. Not that mums that bothered as she never used it in a shop only at cash points, and my nan had the same type of account and she has had the same letter come through in yesterdays post.
