Help Please on Downlading Drivers for NEC E616

ive not used these before as a data cable but this is how you do the drivers for the unlocking s/w - it should be the same i think
When you connect NEC to your USB cable & handset to pc it creates 3
new com ports:
1. Command Port
2. OBEX Port
3. Modem port
This programme works from the OBEX port.
If the program can't find this port automatically, please go to device
manager, then COM/LPT port and see which one is your OBEX port.
Untick Automatic/Manual in program window & click READ CODES.
Immediately you will see new window to choose the correct port.
So just select the port where you know is your OBEX port (e.g. COM 24).

If you have problems installing the drivers in windows 98 or me, simply go
to the driver folder for the handset you are using and choose the UN-INSTALL
option in the UnIst folder, and then reboot your system and then try again and all drivers will load.0
