Who needs a legal defence if you car is not running as it should and stops a legal defence ON WHAT GROUNDS! who has ever hear of needing a legal defence lets say on a motorway hard shoulder or on a restricted road IT WOULD ONLY CAUSE COMPLICATION what happened was simple it was VCS who complicated the matter including the lies in the report from them to POPLA0 -
Well done, i hope you've made a strong complaint to the airport regarding this matter, and asking them to make assurances that this will never happen again. From the Plain Language Commission:
"The BPA has surely become one of the most socially dangerous organisations in the UK"0 -
One of the most stupidest arguments put forward by VCS regarding the "no stopping" rule on airport approach roads is "it's a security matter".So how are you going to stop a potential car-bomb by posting a letter to the driver a couple of weeks after the event? What part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?0

Well done - a very fair Judge on the day turned up trumps for you - and as we hate PPCs we are all thrilled. You were on very shaky ground though, you really 'should' have submitted a legal defence, and you would have had one from here or from pepipoo had you asked - but you got lucky, sounds like a nice Judge so what goes around comes around! Nice result!
It is a shame you threw away their contract which would have helped other newbies with info for a defence if they get a VCS claim at that site.
Can you let us know your case number/name and the Judge's name, and date of the decision please? People can only cite it if they know the case.
This would be very useful for newbies with a VCS court case or a POPLA appeal to do in similar circs (you would have won at POPLA with the right words, by the way). Next time get forum help with a winning POPLA appeal rather than having to face a Judge!PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
