How much to cancel a virgin contract
Options
Hiya does anybody have any ideas how much it is to cancel my virgin mobile account. i am still in contract until end of august.
The reason for me wanting end my contract is im having problems with my data allowances and there disappearing when the mobile web is completely switched off and no apps are on my phone at all. (think im somehow having my data allowance hacked) any ideas.
Thanks.

It's worth posting what phone it is and how exactly "he mobile web is completely switched off".0 -
Get one of the free data monitoring apps and install it (I use DataWiz). This will sit in the background and monitor your usage from your billing date, ten give warnings if your projected daily usage is exceeded, and what is causing it.0

Have a look on your virgin account, I have a wildfire on 3 payg, and with the simpe data off, it uses no data.
However I know someone with a nokia 610 and they had the same with virgin and ghost data usage. Or get them to switch off data if you are not using any at all or likely to.0 -

Yes, Virgin turned it off, and yes it 'sorted' the problem, I know she doesn't use much data and tbh it seemed to occur after I had enabled the MMS, I know it wasnt the weather app, as I set it to update only twice per day.0 -
ive had apps running on my phone since i got it 18 months back and i have never used up all my data until this month. I have now turned off all apps and as soon as you connect to internet it takes off 60mb for nothing (i only checked my account for 2 mins and switched it off again) it's all very strange. I think best bet is hav them switch it off and wait till my contract is up in august then find a new deal.Jan 2015 GC £267/£260

Have you disabled updates over mobile data connection (allowed updates over WiFi only)?0
