When is compensation not compensation?

Options
When it's from Vodafone.

After having a series of issues with my Samsung S3 and vodafone's poor excuse for customer service I was offered a payment for all my inconvenience. This offer came from no less than the Director's Office and was dated 29th January. This was in fact the 3rd offer from vf as they had already offered me sums for not having a phone and to cover the purchase of a cheap PAYG handset.

So have I seen a penny of all these sums offered? Nope not a bean, bills haven't been reduced or bank account credited. I've raised it with their CS team and sent a chaser to the Director's Office.

So if anybody has been offered any sort of payment from vf my advice would be keel an eye on things. Your payment might disappear into the same black hole mine's has for the last 2 month

One person's compensation is another's goodwill gesture - the former alludes to some wrongdoing, and is rarely promoted as such.
