    Aw, I wish I had a kitten! Though my dog wouldn't be happy and the cat would probably be confused to have another pet like him after nearly 14 years of dogs... I think perhaps your dream is about you uncovering riches in your life, which might be financial but will be non-monetary too. I'm not a professional dream interpreter or anything though ;)

    Haha a kitten is so much fun, and they'd get used to it! Pets are just so therapeutic, I've only had a cat 2 years but I wish I'd got one years ago. Making up for it now though :D

    Ah I like that about the dream, thank you. :)

    I like how your little pots of savings here and there add up to a sizeable amount. I know little bits of spent money add up I don't think it had clicked for me that it works the same way with saving. DOH me.

    Yeah it seems to be working ok for me. Some of them are regular savings so I don't notice them going out and some are my sweeps but they all add up. I think I might keep the pots like this rather than pooling the money in one account and thinking way hay, holiday time!!!:rotfl:

    Sadly I live in a place where no pets are allowed :( Not because the landlords are meanies but because pets would get squished by the machinery that goes up and down outside my front door during the day. I could probably get away with a goldfish... although I suspect a goldfish wouldn't be as much fun as a kitty cat. Have you named him Brexit? ;)

    Hi Ena
    Inb0x £s will give 10p per week if you use "search" on 4 different days. I tend to make around £1 per month on a slow month with just that and the paid emails. You could try that and get it building a bit faster. Their sign up offers are quite generous as well. I don't really bother with their surveys, as they are low value! Love your regular "scores on the doors"

    Ah thanks for that gonna, I haven't really explored the site much. I do agree the surveys are a bit of a waste of time so I'll try the searches now.

    I love reporting month end, helps me see that all the surveys add up :)

    Good evening :) Still tired despite doing very little over the weekend. I really need to be more productive with cleaning and decluttering and keeping on top of filing. Maybe this weekend, maybe not, we shall see. Feel a bit down in the dumps with it all but I think it's cause I'm tired. I've been randomly waking up at 4 and 5 in the morning, but managing to get back to sleep, and I've had some odd dreams (Arn0ld Schw@rzenegger was my dad and we went to a buffet that only served fish dishes :eek:) so hopefully things will settle down when I've got on top of things. Work is still miserable and the feelings of being trapped are with me every day. I know I'm working towards leaving but until I've left or at least handed my notice in I don't think I'll feel ok. Ack, I need a holiday ;)

    I keep toying with the idea of borrowing an extra £5k on my mortgage so I can get my bathroom and garden done. Then I would just have the hall, stairs and landing to decorate. I know it would be cheaper to use a credit card to borrow the money but psychologically, I don't want my CC debt to increase. But then if my life went t!ts up, it'd be better to have unsecured debt. Why oh why did I ever get into debt! Like a big black cloud hanging over me, ruining my life. I noticed that it was a year ago yesterday that I came back to my diary after abandoning MSE for 2 years and thank god I did. I'd be so much worse off if I wasn't tackling it at all :)

    In other news, the kitten is absolutely beautiful but very energetic and gives my older cat the run around! They are separated in the day but together at night and I've been worried that they're fighting but having googled it, I think they are just playing. There's no hissing or standing on their back legs and they both seem to take it in turns chasing but my older cat is mahoosive compared to the kitten so it's worrying when he's almost pinning him down. I might end up separating them a bit longer and getting the pet sitter to check on them for another week. Worth it for peace of mind :o

    Anyway, enough of the negatives, it's time for a catch up

    Friday 1st July
    * £4.79 in the c0-op for lunch
    * £3.62 in T3sco for a few nibbles
    * £39 for a facial :eek: Totally worth it :D
    * 2 PA surveys
    * P0pulusLive survey

    Saturday 2nd July
    * £30.46 in T3sco on more kitten food, groceries, household stuff and a couple of books (which I probably won't bother reading like the rest :cool:)
    * £20 received from a friend for a little job
    * 2 PA surveys
    * Youg0v prize draw survey. I really hoped it would be a points survey so I can get my £50 :(
    * 91p sweep into my FD savings account
    * 169SB earned and a June bonus of 238SB

    Sunday
    * £2.27 on bread and milk for my parents, they've been away and I always leave them some supplies so they can have some toast and a cuppa when they get in :A
    * £10 charity donation, there was a cat rescue appeal and I couldn't not :D
    * £30 on fuel
    * 126SB earned

    Today
    * NSD
    * £1.76 received from TCB and transferred to my overpayments account
    * VO survey and £30 Am@zon voucher redeemed
    * 134SB earned and a £5 Am@zon voucher redeemed

    I'm covering 2 people's work tomorrow so I need to drive 20 odd miles to the first place, then 20 odd miles to the next place then about 25 miles home, plus £3.60 car parking. Aargh! I'm going to need more petrol before the week is out at this rate! I want a job where I can walk to it, so sick of driving :p

    Moan, moan, moan. Nighty night ;)

    I watched a programme called Life Stripped Bare tonight, and it was well worth a watch. I wouldn't go to quite their extremes of totally stripping but I loved the fact that they cleared everything out and then really thought about what they needed or would make them happy. Most of them did end up getting rid of a lot of stuff but one put all her possessions back where they were as it made her happy. There was a similar programme a few years ago called the Life Laundry where they put all their possessions outside and had to justify to this American hoarding expert why they wanted to keep the ruler that they'd had in school or paper round bag from when they were 14. These may or may not be examples of my possessions that I'd want to keep :rotfl::D

    Today
    * £2.20 on lunch
    * £3.60 car park
    * £4.64 on a few bits in Ald1
    * Youg0v survey and £50 requested, at last :T
    * VO survey
    * PA survey
    * 83SB earned
    * 99p sweep into my FD savings account
