My Batman collection starts at #575 so if you've got a clean run up to #574 (February 2000) I'd be interested in them...

As an avid comic collector - I do tend to use eBay quite a bit to fill in some missed back issues or to get comics that my local shop doesn't stock (Batwoman...) and I've seen this done two ways.

Ordered by issue/publisher/character. New collectors especially are always on the look out to bulk buy back issues because it tends to be easier and cheaper than ordering/buying them individually.

Alternatively, you can put together a "lucky bag" of comics. For example, something like this if you don't want the hassle of sorting through them all.

I'll have a look out for any Batman issues that I think may be of interest.

I have been selling comics for the best part of 10 years on eBay & certainly over the past 5 years values of modern comics have dropped considerably.

Your best option is to do some research using the eBay "advance search" option to see prices completed listings have gone for. Although it may be a bit time consuming it will give you an accurate idea of values.

As suggested above low value items sell in bulk.

Try and watch the comics if others are selling them on ebay to get a feel for the final price they are getting.

You could also try Gumtree as it is free to sell or even sell them at a boot sale if you have a lot of other general items to sell (e.g. books, DVDs, clothes) to try and make a decent profit after paying for a pitch.

If you know 100% that some of the comics are old but next to worthless then take them to a car boot sale and I'm sure there'd be a few people there who'd think like you have that because they're old they must be worth more than they are.
