    Great value that

are they flying to Prague again?

Should read was a rip off, I wish they would. Plenty of £16 flights to warsaw at the moment, I wonder if withabix thinks they are a rip-off too.

I booked flights with travel republic yesterday at 9.30 am, two return flights to Palma with Monarch. At 4.00 pm they contacted me to say the flight had increased by £30.00 per person. The reason that I got was the price on the website had not been updated, however, I searched the travel republic website whilst still on the phone with " customer support" and the price had gone down so clearly someone was changing the web prices.

I can't find anything on their website that prices are subject to change ( how many people have been told their flight has reduced in price)

In the T&Cs under PRICE it states" The price confirmed to you at the time of booking is the final price and will not be affected by price increases imposed by our Travel Providers or caused by currency fluctuations. There is an exception in the case of excursions, please see below."

I contacted "customer support " later in the day to point this clause out, the reply I got was "no comment"

Where do I stand with this? Incidentally the price this morning on their website is still at the lower price!'

Monarch also have £25 off RTN flights booking direct

  • Same price hike from travel republic for me too. Booked Friday evening and looks like they only got round to actually doing the booking early Sunday afternoon and guess what, the prices are out by £40 each ticket. Won't be using them again as misleading thinking your flights are booked and expect changes to be a few pounds here or there but is their own slow action that effects the price rise. By the time they let you know it's too late to get them at a better price and they know it.
