A bitcoin thread, interesting. I had always thought bitcoin was one of those wonderful technology solutions for which there was no problem.
But I saw an article a few days ago, I think it was Visa experimenting with using the bitcoin network so John in London can transfer pounds to his auntie in Kenya who receives Kenyan Shillings, and neither of them is aware their money became bitcoin for a few minutes en route.
If an app like that ever gets going, would that affect the value of bitcoin? Or not, because the bitcoin is only used temporarily?0
