They are deluded, they don't have the capacity to reason between what is risk, and what is dumb.
Bitconistas are members of a cult. Simple as.

Gold bugs are 31 grammes short of an ounce. Bitbugs are short a lot more, and getting shorter.

This doesn't look like a crash to me ...

All that has happened in the last couple of days is one exchange has lost/stolen thousands of bitcoins and millions of dollars.
The Bitcoin network is unaffected and remains as secure as ever.0 -
Same old FUD slinging, same people, every time there's any sniff of perceived bad news.
Difficulty marches on upwards regardless.'We don't need to be smarter than the rest; we need to be more disciplined than the rest.' - WB0 -

Warning!!!
Better to not take the advice of someone who (allegedly) has 5 bitcoins and is a self-confessed liar:No mate.
I'm £900 up and I've got 5 bitcoins that effectively cost me nothing but are currently worth 400 odd quid but could become worth even more.
I'm going to keep hold of them to see what happens.
And I might buy some more. Or I might not.
Who knows?
And after pretending to be 51 (to add gravitas to his posts and not come across as a kid posting on a forum):Ok you got me.
I'm 21 really.
Caught in a lie. I wonder if anything you have said is true?
Another salient lesson for those jumping on a bandwagon - a lot of the people telling you it's a good thing are liars, fantasists or criminals.
As a long-time MSE poster said on this thread - better to get rich slowly.0
