I know that bizzarely calls from T-Mobile to the ones like Lebara or Lyca mobile are not included in the free call allowance but would anyone know if it is the same with texts?

Could also anyone confirm if the text allowance could actually also be used whilst abroad on roaming cause I think I've sent a message or two to another EU country whilst away on holiday but was not charged.

Many Thanks

Not really bizarre - all networks have their tariffs, and connection and termination rates are agreed between all carriers. As Lebara charge networks more to allow a call to be delivered to their subscribers, networks pass this on to their customers by charging more to connect the call.

There is no voice or text allowance when abroad, as Lebara do not have a network - they only rent space. There is a possibility if you roamed onto a Lebara franchised network you might not have been charged, but I'd bet this was an error, rather than policy.

Again, their Price List for roamed services should be your guide.

You miss the point. It is the recieving network ts dictates the delivery cost, and the originating network pass this on to the customer making the call or text. Lebara have one of the highest connection rates, which is why TMobile and other carriers can charge more to call these numbers.

A look at their price list will show what these are, and if texts will cost more on your tMobile tariff.
