That would work for me, It's just two of my illnesses make me have a very short memory & having a regulars board with all of the daily's in one thread works for my brain :rotfl:

Luckyone, may I ask how you remember to enter them now as they are soon lost in the main board in their current format? If this turns out to be a good idea, I have sent cornishpasty a pm, there could still be a permanent link in the regulars board to the first post of each mag, also meaning a lot less work for Glad as there would then be no real need for a long list on the regular board as well?

Cross posting. My train of thought is for those of you that use the regular dailies links that Glad manages, I solid permanent link instead to each magazine on the main board, so lucky one, for instance, you could still go the the dailies board if u preferred, click that 1 link which would take you to the main board and 1 post with all of the current comps listed in the same format as Glad does it now.

I was just wondering if it would work if, the specific mag sites get their own thread/sticky (like Puzzle ones), and just the specific comp link, answer, end date be posted on the end with ie Glad keeping the front page updated as she does now with Daily Sticky. Therefore no individual posts on main board (therefore not clogging it up) and no link in Daily Sticky, much less time taken posting all the mag dailies up, and BG not having to put all those posts into GO hmmmmm that sounds good to me :j

It didn't used to be so bad, but more and more of these daily mag sites have been added lately, and they are running some of the comps across several of the mag daily sites too (therefore creating numerous threads).

Are these threads - one for each mag - going to go ahead or do we need permission? I have noticed that quite a few daily mag comps end tomorrow so I can imagine there will be a fair few new ones starting at the same time!

I was in pm with cornishpasty about this last night, i think she is going to try something similar to what was discussed on this thread but i don't know when or anything. I left it with her being as she is one of the main people to post the endless mags for us to do what she thinks works out best

Edit, Ah, just read her post above, she has pm'd Glad with the suggestion

im fully in agreement for a sticky for each mag, definitely, it will make it much easier to post them
