Erm who said they were experiencing misery? Not the most useful reply IMO...
As for diseases - who knows what diseases we have got that we don't know about? There are such things as vaccinations and treatments for diseases you know - whether it's for animals or humans...
Anyway, they don't sound like they are suffering in Webitha's bra

Feeding every 2 hours 24/7 is really hard! The Cats' Protection League or vet's should be able to put you in contact with someone whose cat has recently had kittens - they usually accept "foster" kittens quite easily. Also most large vet practices have a duty nurse on the premises overnight to look after really ill animals, you may find a practice that will take them in."Cheap", "Fast", "Right" -- pick two.0

Oooh bit stressed are we?
No you didn't ask for my opinion, but you got it - the same as we all got yours - only if you have any experience of animals you will know that my opinion was as useful as all the other posters on here who offered helpful advice.
As for the quote - yes I read it and all I can say is just because something is barely alive doesn't mean we have to write it off, and also that if you were ever unfortunate enough to be considered barely alive following an accident or whatever then lets hope that someone with your opinions doesn't find you - else you'll be put out of your misery too.
If you want any more useful advice Webitha, please PM me - I can't be arsed wasting time posting/debating with arsey stressheads like the above poster :rolleyes:0 -

Stressed? No
The cats are strays. Anybody with an ounce of intelligence can work that out. The chances are the mother is a feral. But again, you have experience with animals so you already know that. Your opinion was that they wern't suffering. You're wrong, as I stated above. Therefore your opinion shows just what a lack of intelligence you have.
Good idea. Go do some cat loving in PM.This country is called Great Britain. It would be called Amazing Britain if it wasn't for people like you pulling the average down0 -
Keep an eye open for Mum returning, well done for helping them, poor little things, I hope you manage to keep them going until you get some help with them.
I am really shocked at the response from the RSPCA and CPL, all the support they expect then refuse to help when you need them. One day I might be more organised...........

I think you're doing everything that you can. We found 3 newborn kittens 2 years ago, they were born to ferral cats where we used to live. The mother appeared to have abandoned them also. I didn't find it too tiring as they grow very quickly need feeding less often. Unfortunatley they all had cat flu and the smallest one died after 2 weeks, the other 2 were fine after some meds. 2 years on the other 2 are very much part of the family now(see avatar). The only thing I can add to what others have said is that we had to weigh them every day to make sure they were gaining weight(told to by the vet).0
