My advise is check out Ebay for UK made stuff - I know from experience there's some amazing bargains on there as my other half is a wedding dress designer and quite often lists her old dresses on ebay at a loss for a fraction of the price (and way below cost of manufacture). These are all unique and a one-off design rather than being mass produced at the cheapest price point possible. The quality of the stuff from the Far East can be variable but look out for UK made garments from known UK Bridal 'names' and you'll get something absolutely top quality for a steal.
She's sold some simply stunning gowns recently that retail in her shops for between £1500 - £2000 for as little as £99 or so just to clear old stock. There's nothing wrong with any of them except maybe they've been used for a photo shoot or displayed in the shop. As I said these are exactly the same garments that people pay £1500+ for, all one off's rather than coming off a production line0 -
I went to the Bury TK maxx today to have a little look, thought it would be a good idea to have a back up dress just in case, unfortunatly there were only 2, a full lace frock thing and a goooooorgeous ivory and diamontie detail corset gown in a size 12, it was a generous size though because I tried it on and it fit (minus zipping the zip up
)
There were some lovely chocolate brown bridesmaid dresses and some nice corest dresses as well.Work like you don't need money,Love like you've never been hurt,And dance like no one's watchingSave the cheerleader, save the world!0
