I'm struggling a wee bit. Havent had much work and have had to use my travel savings to pay the bills.

I know I'm lucky I had this option and my debt isn't massive but my little trips here and there are my only joy in life!

But everyone has to make sacrifices...I'm away next week for a few weeks, luckily most of it is paid for but after that I will have to knuckle down and continue being miserable until the debt is paid off.

    Back to basics I think

Things are still a bit crap, life is strange just now.

Debt is there but I'd happily quadruple it if I could buy some motivation from somewhere

Hi Littleboots - I think I remember your name from being on here in a previous life! Hope you are doing okay, you sound a little disheartened in your previous post. I'm sure things will pick up for you soon!

    Hola Littleboots

Know how you feel with the lack of motivation - I too am in debt, love to travel and am in need of some weight loss (about 20lbs).

It's just really hard to keep the momentum going - I always start out well but then get bored of it I suppose :o

Like your list of goals though - good luck with the Spanish

    Hasta luego!

Hmmm, well after being in my overdraft for about 10 years (the one I keep getting sooo close to paying off but never get round to closing) the bank sent me a letter saying their fees are changing and not it my favour. The new fees are somewhat extortionate.

Luckily I was accepted for a new credit card which do transfers to a current account then give you 26 months interest free. So I have some breathing space. I will transfer the balance of my other credit card over as well and divide the overall balance by 25 and set up a standing order.

I hope to pay it off quicker though ;)/

AND I WILL CLOSE ALL ACCOUNTS/CREDIT CARDS I SHOULD NOT BE USING!!

Have to suck it up and get back to work...just hope theres shifts.

    Hi LittleBoots

Well done on getting your debts interest free but boo for being ill :(

I'm very jealous of your holidays, been over a year since I went away and have nothing booked, not a nice feeling! Tempted to book a weekend away in Prague but it will take me longer to get to the airport than it will to get to Prague...

Did you manage to slice a mango? I love them, but can't cut one up to save my life... It's a good challenge, one I might take up!
