AOL Gold broadband service discountinued!

hi,
just by chance today i though i would call aol to check the details of my broadband service and found that the gold product i have been paying 24.99 for 4 years for has been discontinued. You can now get the same service as gold, same speed, etc now named silver for 14.99 per month. guess its a classic example of checking an old product still exists / if its been upgraded / or is cheaper! thats a saving of £10 a month! hope this helps someone else with this product save too.

Have you checked the T&C before switching.

I think the old Gold was unlimited but new products have caps, but I guess they could cap you on any product old or new.
  • yes, same t&c, speed, and no tie in for any period!
