Sold a John Rocha Boys Top for 99p. Described as used. No stains or marks. Buyer has left me neutral feedback saying is it more worn that described. The top was "used". I don't usually offer returns. Should I on this occasion. Wish they had contacted me first.
Should I reply to their feedback or just leave it and move on. I am new to the selling on ebay so not sure what to expect

You have the option to ask them to reconsider and maybe change their feedback but be aware that they could change it for the worse.

Giving a refund wont guarantee they change their opinion.

Neutral Feedback isnt as bad as negative and hopefully they've not marked your stars down too badly.

Some people are very hard to please but take their comments on board and ensure that you are fully upfront when listing used items. What's excellent condition to you, may only be fair condition to others.

If it were me I'd take it on the chin and move on, being grateful I didnt get a negative. I'd probably also add a brief follow up to the feedback, mentioning that they could return it for a full refund if they would like to.

Thanks, I didn't claim that the top was in good condition. I could understand it if I had. I wouldn't want to claim excellent or good condition unless the item had only been worn once. I have bought baby grows and vests and found them faded or bleach marks but never bothered. Maybe they just don't like the top and are a bit disappointed but at the end of the day it cost 99p so probably isn't worth the hassle. Perhaps I can add under my disclosures "item has been worn and washed".

I can claim that all my items are either good or excellent as I was happy for my boy to wear them. If they were not I would throw it away. The top i sold was fine. But don't you leave yourself open for criticism like this, unless they item is nearly new. I prefer to say nothing, then the buyer can always ask prior to placing a bid I am not selling rubbish or forcing anyone to buy.

I wouldn't have the nerve to complain about the condition of something if I bought it for 99p unless it was stained or unwearable.

I think it is quite the opposite , if you say nothing then it implies there is nothing to say so item is as good as new. If item shows wear then I would expect all the wear and marks to be stated.

If it had marks then I would say.
I will add a disclaimer from now on.

Selling clothes can be a minefield, as one person's perception of 'good' is another persons 'worn out'.

I wpuldn't reply to the feedback, as it draws even more attention to it, I'd just treat it as a learning experience, and in future look very critically at your items, and clearly describe the condition and any faults.

Even so, there'll always be people who expect the earth for 99p !
