The executors will have to ascertain the value of the property in the estate prior to applying for grant of probate - they have to gather in details of the total value of the estate prior to this - so it may well be that they have put the property on the market as they are applying for probate - this is what my OH did when he had to deal with his mother's estate.
He had received grant of probate by the time the property was sold.0 -

I would forget these boards and suggest you attend a solicitor as a matter of urgency. Whether the second will is valid or not is the question here and one for the courts to decide which will be expensive has others have said. You can get an initial 30 minutes with a solicitor free of charge
