Should we be adding TV sockets (or anything else?)

What do buyers look for now?
Network ports would be good, easy when you are at first fix and can pull CAT5. These days, your TV/DVD will have iPlayer installed and lots of peeps want to use a 3rd bed as study.
Certainly F-Type satellite/cable points in the lounge and two bedrooms.
Phone points in hall and lounge.0 -
Thanks.
We are building a small understairs cupboard in the kitchen.
My thoughts are to....
Run TV cables to this small area, perhaps terminating in some distribution box, with one cable going to the loft for an aerial to be added by any new owner.
Install TV sockets in each room
Install a BT 'master socket' in the lounge at the front (the hall is not big enough for a phone) then BT can connect to this, I assume.
Install phone extension sockets in each room, except kitchen.
I could install a CAT5/6 point in each room, with it coming back to the new under stairs cupboard, but as my wife correctly says 'it is just a terraced house' - so is it a good idea? Just thinking of the added expense for a hub, sockets, etc.
I suppose somebody could then add virgin or sky and route the cables to the cupboard - although they would probably have to pull up carpets or have exposed wires if they do - but not much I can do about that, I guess.
A bit new to all this.....0 -

I didn't expect a phone socket in the hall, and doubt many people these days have a phone in the hall. We had one in the master bedroom and the lounge which was fine. It would have been nice to have had a telephone socket in the 3rd bedroom that we use as a study. We would ideally have plugged the router in, as it is, we now have that in the lounge.
Network points would have been lovely but didn't expect it. I suppose that begs the question of what market you are aiming at. Certainly didn't expect it in our 3 bed, but if it's a 500k property I would.0
